Activating Your Account with MFA
As part of our commitment to best-in-class security on the Gen 2 platform, the final, mandatory step before access is granted is to secure your account with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
This step can be done whilst awaiting for the KYC and KYB application results.
Supported MFA Methods
Section titled “Supported MFA Methods”The platform supports the following MFA methods:
- App OTP: Use an authenticator application on your mobile device (such as Google Authenticator or Twilio Authy) to generate time-based one-time passwords.
- SMS OTP: Receive a one-time verification code via SMS to your registered phone number.
- Passkey: Use a FIDO2/WebAuthn-compatible device such as a hardware security key or biometric authenticator (e.g., fingerprint, Face ID).
Setting Up Your MFA
Section titled “Setting Up Your MFA”- Log In: Use your credentials. You will be immediately prompted to begin the MFA setup process.
- Choose Your MFA Method: Select your preferred method from the options above.
- Complete Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions for your chosen method. For App OTP, this involves scanning a QR code and entering a verification code. For Passkeys, this involves registering your device.
- Save Your Backup Codes: The system will generate a set of one-time-use backup codes.
Once you confirm you have saved your codes, your account will be fully active and secured.
